Our client is a stickler for quality when it comes to personal care. Relocating to a new city presented her with the challenge of finding personal care professionals who met her needs. An inefficient search through Instagram was exhausting.
As our client has an IT background, she decided to take matters into her own hands and create an AI-powered platform where customers can match with top-tier beauty and wellness specialists. Another goal was to free up valuable time for consultations by streamlining administrative tasks within the CRM.

Recognizing the challenges newcomers face in finding reliable beauty specialists, we envisioned a system that surpasses a simple directory.
– AI-powered Matching: We implemented an image search feature. Users can upload a photo of what they want to get (e.g., a desired style), and AI matches users with compatible beauty specialists based on services, preferences, and stylistic elements.
– User-Centric Registration: Explore before the commitment. The team developed a preview mode that allowed potential customers to browse services and explore the app’s functionalities without the need for immediate registration.
– Effortless Specialist Onboarding: The platform was designed for a quick and intuitive setup process. Specialists can create profiles, list services, manage schedules, and integrate calendars – all within minutes.
Design Process
Extensive user interviews with service providers and potential clients informed our feature prioritization and intuitive interface design. Our collaborative effort, in which each team member’s perspective contributed, resulted in an inclusive and personalized user experience. Our Capybara mascot, soft color palettes, and approachable typeface further reinforce the platform’s calming and friendly tone.
Result
The MVP has been released to beta testers, with the founder actively seeking investment for further development. User feedback validated the benefits of our core functionalities - a sophisticated search algorithm, detailed service provider profiles, and an intuitive booking system. This user-centric approach ensures the platform evolves in line with real-world needs. Early user testing identified areas for improvement, which are being addressed through ongoing development. With a strong foundation in place, we're poised to expand services and personalize the user experience even further, solidifying our position as the leading platform for connecting beauty professionals with clients.
